We found her when it was already too late to hide: Mama Tomasa had given birth to her four kittens on the mezzanine of a house, amidst dampness and garbage. Without light, without space, without anything. Just a mother doing what she could.

We rescued them all. The four little ones arrived tiny, scared, but healthy. We cared for them, watched them grow, and one by one they found their families.

Each adoption was a small victory.
We spayed Mama Tomasa so that no other baby would be born in those conditions. Because rescue isn't just about saving those already in danger — it's about preventing the cycle from repeating.

Today Mama Tomasa is still the queen of the neighborhood. She lives between two houses, eats on two porches, and walks down the street like she owns everything. Because deep down, she does. 👑🧁
